Why Texas rocks

Well, one of the many reasons. But the ability to go to the lake in the middle of October and still play in the water all day, really, who can complain. And we never ever have to shovel snow. Not here in central Texas anyway.

Last weekend my family rented a cabin on a lake. It was a much needed break from sports and commitments and even the computer. I can't remember the last time I went that many days without the internet. And I lived to tell about it. Ok, well I did have my BlackBerry, but lets not talk about that ok?

There was a little pool in the back of the cabin, though it was a tad cold the kids still loved playing. There was a dry creek bed right behind the house where we took several hikes and found the most amazing flock? herd? school? of butterflies. And of course the lake. We rented a SeaDoo and spent Sunday at the lake. I think Colton spent the most time on it, he'd sneak on the front as often as he could get away with it.

We took 450 pictures. That is four HUNDRED people!! I won't force you look at them all, but here are a few of my favorites.

450 PICTURES!!??? HOLY CAMOLEE!!!!! I'm so glad you guys had a good time. You totally deserve it and the pics rock! I LOVE the family one, the one of Justin, Colton, and Caleigh together and the one of Colton and Caleigh holding hands. It seems so surreal that Justin has siblings so young. Reminds me of me. I was just reminiscing about when I went off to college and my bro cried and cried and cried. sniff, sniff. MEMORIES! Anyway, love ya girl!
